ROCKET LLAMA GAMES PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: July 15, 2026
Rocket Llama Games (“Rocket Llama”, “we”, “our”, or “us”)
develops and publishes mobile games, distributed through the Apple
App Store and Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, disclose, and
protect personal information when you play our games, visit our website (https://rocketllama.games), or interact with us.
By downloading, installing, or playing our games, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge the data
collection and processing practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. OUR ALL-AGES PRIVACY COMMITMENT (MIXED AUDIENCE SCREENING)
Our games are designed for a broad, mixed audience of all ages, including children. To safeguard our younger
players and comply with global data protection laws—including the US Children’s Online Privacy
Protection Act (COPPA), the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer
Privacy Act (CCPA)—we utilize a Neutral Age Screen upon the initial launch of our
games.
Child-Protected Experience (Users Under 13 in the US, or Under 13–16 in the EU/UK depending on
country of residence)
If a user self-identifies as being below the age of digital consent, our games dynamically adjust. We
automatically disable all behavioral profiling, personalized advertising, and third-party telemetry or
analytics. All game progression, virtual assets, and high scores are stored strictly on the local
device, and we display only non-targeted, contextual advertisements from Families-certified ad networks.
- Standard Experience (Users Over the Age of Consent): Users who verify they are over the
age of digital consent are granted access to standard server-side cloud backups, cross-device
synchronization, and interactive leaderboards. These users may choose to opt in or opt out of
personalized behavioral tracking and marketing cookies.
- Future Scalability: If we release games in the future carrying older age ratings (e.g.,
teen or mature), the app will dynamically default to the standard mature experience while remaining
compliant with Google and Apple developer policies.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND PROCESS
We process personal data to deliver stable, secure, and enjoyable gameplay experiences. We primarily process
technical identifiers rather than directly identifying information.
A. Information Collected Automatically
When you play our games, we or our third-party partner networks automatically collect the following
technical, device-level data:
- Device Identifiers: IP addresses, unique installation UUIDs, and network connection
status.
- Mobile Resettable Advertising IDs: Google Advertising ID (GAID) and Apple Identifier
for Advertisers (IDFA). These are strictly processed only for adult users who have provided
explicit tracking consent.
- Technical Hardware Data: Device model, operating system (OS), system language, screen
resolution, application crash logs, and hardware performance metrics.
- Gameplay Metrics: Game progress, levels completed, high scores, session duration, and
interactions with in-game features.
B. Information You Provide Directly
- Customer Support: If you contact us directly via email at rocketllamagames@gmail.com, we collect your name, email
address, and any diagnostic logs or text you choose to include in your support ticket.
- In-App Purchases (IAP): Financial transactions are handled entirely by Apple StoreKit
or Google Play Commerce. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or billing details. We
receive only validation tokens to verify purchases and credit virtual items to your account.

4. SHARING AND SELLING OF INFORMATION (US STATE PRIVACY LAWS)
California (CCPA/CPRA) Disclosures
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, our integration of third-party
advertising SDKs that use resettable Advertising IDs for behavioral targeting may be classified as
“selling” or “sharing” personal information under California law.
- Minor Opt-In Consent: We strictly do not sell or share the personal
data of users we have actual knowledge are under 16 years of age, unless we obtain affirmative
“opt-in” consent. For users under 13, this consent must be provided by a parent or guardian.
For minors aged 13 to 15, the minor must affirmatively opt in.
- Adult Opt-Out Right: Adult users (16 and older) have the right to opt out of the sale
or sharing of their data at any time. You can exercise this right in the “Privacy Settings”
menu of our games by toggling off “Personalized Ads”, or by utilizing the Global Privacy
Control (GPC) signal on your device.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY & COPPA COMPLIANCE (US REGULATION)
Our games comply fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect,
store, or share persistent identifiers or any personal information from children under the age of 13 for
behavioral ad targeting, profiling, or tracking.
Parental Rights Under COPPA:
If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 13 who plays our games, you possess the following
operational rights:
- The Right to Review: You can request a summary of the categories of data we process
regarding your child (which is restricted to locally saved progress and basic device diagnostics).
- The Right to Revoke Consent: You may refuse further online data collection from your
child at any time.
- The Right to Delete: You can request that we delete all collected personal data
associated with your child from our servers.
To exercise these rights, please contact our privacy desk at rocketllamagames@gmail.com. To protect your child's
security, we
will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing your request.
6. EUROPEAN USER PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR Compliance)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you possess
the following statutory rights under the GDPR:
- Right of Access & Portability: Request a copy of your personal data in a
structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to Rectification: Request corrections to inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”): Request the complete deletion
of your data.
- Right to Restrict or Object: Object to our processing of your data under
“Legitimate Interest” grounds.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent to personalized ads at any time via
the in-game settings menu.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: File a formal complaint with a European data protection
authority.
7. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS & INTEGRATIONS
To run and monetize our games, we integrate third-party SDKs. These partners act as independent data
controllers and adhere to strict safety practices:
- Ad Networks (e.g., Google AdMob, Unity Ads): Display in-game ads. For child-directed
accounts, these SDKs are programmatically configured to block behavioral tracking and deliver contextual
ads only.
- Analytics Providers (e.g., Google Firebase, Unity Analytics): Monitor app performance
and game stability. All metrics for minor profiles are anonymized or disabled at the time of collection.
- Storefront Providers (Apple App Store / Google Play Store): Handle purchase billing and
cloud profile syncing.
8. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY
- Security: We transmit all personal data securely using modern encryption protocols
(HTTPS/TLS) to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
- Retention Limits:
- Gameplay Analytics Data: Retained for up to 25 months following your last
active session, after which it is deleted or permanently anonymized.
- In-App Purchase Records: Retained for up to 10 years to comply with tax and
corporate auditing obligations under financial retention regulations.
- Support Correspondence: Retained for up to 3 years from the resolution of your
inquiry to support potential legal claims.
9. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
In compliance with App Store and Google Play developer program guidelines, we provide clear mechanisms to
request the deletion of your data:
- In-App Deletion: Open the game, navigate to the Settings menu, select
Privacy Settings, and tap Delete My Account (if an in-game cloud
account feature is available). If you play the game as a guest and store progress strictly on your local
device, no server records are kept; you can delete all local data simply by uninstalling the application
from your device.
- Email Deletion Requests: If you have uninstalled the game and wish to request the
manual erasure of any associated server-side telemetry or identifiers, please contact us at rocketllamagames@gmail.com with the subject line
“Data
Deletion Request”. We will verify your device identity to ensure the secure completion of your
request.
